Cheerleaders and Dancers
[ send me this paper ]
A 3 page paper comparing and contrasting some of the actions of dancers and cheerleaders, written from the perspective that cheerleaders are inferior in every respect. Most larger cheerleading squads interject an interlude of something they call dance into their routines, but the definition of this dance is that it is different in form from throwing friends into the air and then jumping up and down. The cheerleader’s dance is evidence that the language needs at least one more word. Meeting attendees can table an issue or they can leave items on a table as they leave a room. There is as much similarity in those actions as there is in the dance of a dancer and that of a cheerleader. No sources.

Choosing Organic Foods
[ send me this paper ]
This 5 page paper explores whether or not organic food is actually more nutritious than food produced in traditional ways, and finds that in general, it is not. It has an advantage because it’s not raised using pesticides; however, that is frequently offset by the long distances it is trucked to the consumer. The paper suggests that people who can afford to buy organic (it’s generally 50% more than traditional food) might like to do so because they feel better and believe they are helping the environment. There is some doubt if either is true, but the perception may be enough to bring about a change in reality. Bibliography lists 6 sources.
